Tajna Poczta Podziemna

Miscellaneous stamps

The original labels, not these reprints, were intended as propaganda labels, not stamps. Postmarks of secret Polish post headquarters are completely fictitious, being dated 1942-1943, before the original printing.

Glossary

These stamps were produced during the Nazi occupation of Poland during World War II. They were produced for propaganda purposes and were used as patriotic receipts for donations given to various resistance movements. By their very nature, it was extremely dangerous for a person to be found in posession of such stamps.
